Incorporated in 1988 under the Swiss Law on the basis of previous European entities that have been operating in the field of electronic instrumentation, power electronics and computer science since 1971, Aliteco is a long standing expertise in industrial automation. Shifting from autarchy, as only possible in the ‘70s and ‘80s, to almost full outsourcing, Aliteco is nowadays capable to integrate the most peculiar solutions in the field of industrial engineering.
In 2007 Aliteco incorporated by merging Biomedy AG, a Swiss company from whom it was inherited all the expertise in the mining industry (both extraction and remediation technologies) and special materials for nuclear decontamination. These products and technologies, complemented with other new capabilities and expertise, have now been demerged into an autonomous operating unit (BIOMEDY).
In the recent years, Aliteco has turned back to its initial vocation of manufacturer of electronic instrumentation for specific and peculiar applications by adding to its portfolio VICAS, a Distributed Fiber-optic Coherent Reflectometer as Vibrational (and Temperature) Sensor.
In the field of Defence and Security, Aliteco has developed, configured and implemented several systems, of different size, for intercepting and suppressing drones of various type (DROKI). Constant and continued attention is posed for properly responding to the technological improvement of the counter-measures implemented by drone’s manufacturers.
Taking advantage from the significant expertise of Aliteco in laser technologies, in 2018 Aliteco has acquired a basic technology and know-how for laser processing of glasses, sapphire and silicon, including laser cutting, chamfering and hardening.
